Visit to the Port of Dunkirk – 18 March 2024

Established in the 11th century, the Port of Dunkirk is now France’s third busiest seaport. It has undergone remarkable development since its early days as a fishing port, stretching for almost 20 km. It is a major economic pillar in the region, and is currently making a name for itself as a forerunner in the field of decarbonisation.

Accompanied by their teachers, the Master 2 Innovation Management students were given a guided tour of the port of Dunkirk. It was an opportunity to learn first-hand about the dynamics of innovation in the port industry and how it is involved in the ecological transition through decarbonisation projects.
